Who certifies BlueZoo' compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)?

All BlueZoo products are certified with the “Trusted Privacy” seal, awarded by the expert inspection authority ePrivacy GmbH (Hamburg/Germany). The seal of approval is awarded following a technical and legal in-depth audit of the BlueZoo products. The certification covers the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for digital products. The base for the audit is ePrivacy’s catalog of criteria for certification, which is continuously being adapted to the interpretation of the GDPR and other data protection laws. The ePrivacy seal thus helps to ensure secure and visible compliance with the GDPR.

BlueZoo’s products were certified for the first time in February 2018, 3 months before GDPR came into effect. The certification is valid for 2 years, with yearly technical and legal audits. The current certification is valid until January 2025. 

ePrivacy GmbH has been recognized as an expert inspection authority in the fields of law and technology at the Unabhängigen Landeszentrum für Datenschutz Schleswig Holstein (Germany).
